Description
Spirax Sarco CA14 ductile iron trap for air and gas systems, available with ½” and ¾” threaded connections. The CA14 series is a float-operated automatic liquid drain valve for air and gas systems. The ductile iron body and cover provide easy maintenance. Standard configuration uses a fluoroelastomer valve cone under model CA14; a stainless steel valve cone is available under model CA14S.

Installation Instructions
Install the CA14 trap in the direction indicated by the arrow on the body, ensuring that the float arm can move freely in the vertical direction.
Disposal
If products containing fluoroelastomer components are used at temperatures approaching 315°C or higher, the fluoroelastomer may decompose and form hydrofluoric acid. Avoid skin contact with and inhalation of this acid, as it can cause skin burns and damage the respiratory system. Dispose of fluoroelastomer in accordance with the recommendations in the installation and maintenance guide. Proper disposal will not cause environmental harm.
