Description
Spirax Sarco CSF16/CSF16T stainless steel sterile air filters are high-efficiency, in-line filters for horizontal installation, designed to remove particulate contaminants from gas systems. The filter housing is available in several configurations: CSF16 uses austenitic stainless steel 1.4301, while CSF16T uses 1.4404.
The external surfaces of DN8 - DN80 housings are polished, while the internal surfaces have a natural finish. DN100 - DN200 housings have a natural finish on both external and internal surfaces.
The housing consists of two halves and complies with the DIN 11851 food industry connection standard. For DN100 - DN200, the two halves are connected with bolts and nuts. The filter is fitted with a replaceable 0.01μm borosilicate filter element offering a filtration efficiency of more than 99.9998%. Low-flow L-type and high-flow H-type filter elements are available for selected pipe sizes. The product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Stamping can be supplied on request. All materials comply with US FDA requirements. EN 10204 3.1 certification is available when specified at the time of ordering.

Note: For DN50 and DN80, high-flow versions are designated “H” and low-flow versions “L”. For 1.4404 housings, the suffix “T” must be added, as in CSF16T.
Supply
CSF16 is supplied in two parts:

Housing bottom cover, top cover and housing seal.

2 sets of CSF16 - A borosilicate filter elements.
Note: The filter element removes contaminants from the medium and becomes saturated after a period of service. To minimize downtime, ordering an additional filter element and housing as spare parts is recommended.
For spare part orders, order the required parts as described in the table above and specify the filter housing model and size. Example: one seal set for a Spirax Sarco DN200H CSF16 filter.
