Description
Spirax Sarco BPC32 and BPC32Y carbon steel pressure-balanced thermostatic steam traps are repairable steam traps with carbon steel construction and in-line connections. BPC32 features an integral flat screen, while BPC32Y features an integral Y-type screen. All pressure-containing parts are supplied by TÜV-certified suppliers, and the manufacturing process complies with AD-Merkblatt WO/TRD100. Both trap types are unaffected by water hammer.

Options

Filling capsules and operation: the standard capsule (STD) discharges condensate at 12 ℃ below saturated steam temperature; the NTS capsule discharges condensate at 6 ℃ below saturated steam temperature; the SUB capsule discharges condensate at 24 ℃ below saturated steam temperature. Specify the capsule type when ordering.

Standard configuration: BPC32 and BPC32Y with an ‘STD’ filling capsule; BPC32CV and BPC32YCV are available with an ‘STD’ filling capsule and check valve.

An EN 10204 3.1 material certificate is available for this product. Specify the certificate when ordering.

Installation Notes

The trap can be installed in any position, horizontally or vertically.

When condensate is discharged into a condensate return line with backpressure, installing a check valve downstream of the trap is recommended.

When condensate is discharged to atmosphere, installing a silencer is recommended.

For ease of maintenance, installing isolation valves upstream and downstream of the trap is recommended.
Disposal
This product is recyclable and will not create an environmental hazard when disposed of properly.
