Description
Spirax Sarco BPT13 brass balanced pressure thermostatic steam traps are serviceable balanced pressure steam traps with a brass body. The standard product is BPT13A with an angle connection. Several optional models are available as follows:

Capsule types include: standard ‘STD’ capsule, which drains condensate at 12°C below saturated steam temperature; optional ‘NTS’ capsule, which drains condensate at 4°C below saturated steam temperature; and ‘SUB’ capsule, which drains condensate at 24°C below saturated steam temperature. The capsule type must be specified when ordering.
Available sizes are 3/8”, ½” and ¾”. Threaded connections are BSP (BS 21) or NPT.

Safety information, installation and maintenance: Refer to the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the product for detailed information (IM-P122-02). Install with the capsule in a horizontal position and the bonnet at the top. A length of uninsulated cooling pipe is preferably installed upstream of the trap.
