Description
Spirax Sarco BTM7 stainless steel clean thermostatic steam trap is a serviceable thermostatic steam trap designed to remove condensate from clean steam systems. It is suitable for sterilizers, process vessels, and CIP/SIP systems. The body is made of 316L stainless steel with a highly finished internal surface, typically polished to 1.6~3.2Ra. The self-draining design discharges condensate at a temperature close to saturation. Each steam trap is individually packaged with protective caps and sealed in a plastic bag.

Safety Information, Installation, and Maintenance

Installation guidance:
This product is designed for installation in vertical pipework with downward flow to ensure free condensate drainage. Do not expose the thermostatic element to superheated conditions, as this will damage the element. Suitable isolation valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the steam trap to ensure safe maintenance and replacement.
