Description
Spirax Sarco FT14 and FT14HC cast iron float-type steam traps feature all-stainless-steel internals and an integral automatic air vent. Designed for horizontal installation with threaded connections, these traps can be serviced in-line. Flow direction is indicated on the valve body.

Options
In addition to an air vent, FT14-C includes a steam-lock release (SLR) device to prevent steam locking in the system. The letter “C” is added to the model designation. If required, the valve cover can be drilled and tapped with a 3/8” BSP or NPT threaded hole for installation of a drain valve or balance pipe.

Installation note: Install according to the flow-direction arrow on the valve body. Ensure that the float arm is horizontal so that it can move vertically.
