Description

Spirax Sarco FTC32 (DN15 and DN20) carbon steel float steam trap with an internal automatic air vent is an ideal choice for efficiently removing condensate in process applications with fluctuating pressure and load conditions. The standard connection is horizontal, right-to-left flow when viewed from the bottom of the valve.

Models and Maximum Differential Pressure

ModelMaximum Differential Pressure
FTC32-4.54.5 bar
FTC32-1010 bar
FTC32-1414 bar
FTC32-2121 bar
FTC32-3232 bar

Sizes and Pipe Connections

  • ½” and ¾” threaded BSP and NPT connections

  • ½” and ¾” socket-weld connections, BS 3799 Class 3000 and ANSI B16.11 Class 3000

  • DN15 and DN20 flanged connections, EN 1092 PN40, ANSI B16.5 Class 150 and 300, JIS/KS 20K and 30K

Options

  • Horizontal connections with left-to-right flow (FTC32(L-R)) and vertical connections (FTC32V), suitable for upward or downward flow, are available.

  • The trap body is available in ASTM or DIN standard materials.

  • An optional manually adjustable needle valve can be installed. In addition to providing air-venting capability, it can also eliminate steam-locking. This version is designated FTC32-C.

  • An internal strainer and check valve are available as options, designated FTC32X and FTC32CV, respectively.
