Description
Spirax Sarco FTGS14 float and thermostatic steam trap with threaded connection features an austenitic stainless steel body, integral automatic air vent, and nickel-plated ductile iron cover. It provides enhanced corrosion resistance and allows in-line maintenance without removing the pipeline.

Capsule
The BP99/32 capsule can be used with superheated steam, with superheat of 150°C@0 bar g and 50°C@32 bar g.

Capacity
The capacities shown are condensate capacities based on saturated temperature. During startup, condensate is cold and the thermostatic air vent is open, providing additional condensate capacity. The additional cold-water capacity provided by the air vent at different differential pressures is shown below:

Safety Information, Installation and Maintenance
For detailed information, refer to the installation and maintenance guide supplied with the product (IM-P145-12).
During installation, ensure that FTGS14 is installed with the fluid flow direction matching the arrow on the body. The float arm must be horizontal and the float must be able to move freely in the vertical direction. If necessary, the flow direction can be changed on site by rotating the cover 180 degrees. Ensure that the arrow on the nameplate points downward.
Disposal
This product is recyclable. Proper disposal does not create an environmental hazard.
