Spirax Sarco 1/2" M10S2 RB ball valve, front view

Description

Spirax Sarco M10S three-piece ball valves are designed for isolation service and must not be used as control valves. They are suitable for steam and other industrial fluids, from vacuum conditions to higher temperatures and pressures. M10S valves can be serviced in line without removal from the pipeline (threaded and welded versions only).

Note: In the naming convention, FB denotes full bore and RB denotes reduced bore.

Standards

This product fully complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. CE marking is available where required.

Certificates

EN10204 3.1 certification is available for this product.

Pressure/Temperature Limits

Note 1: M10S2 and M10S3 valves in 2” FB and 2½” RB configurations are fitted with a PTFE gasket between the body and bonnet.

Note 2: The maximum working pressure may be limited by the flange standard. Please consult Spirax Sarco for details.

The torque values above apply to valves used frequently at a maximum differential pressure of 100 bar. For valves that remain in a fixed position for extended periods, torque may increase.
