Description
Spirax Sarco AEL6 series intelligent electric actuators are reversible actuators with linear output for DN15 to DN100 control valves. The series is available in four power input models: 230Vac, 115Vac, 24Vac, and 24Vdc. Standard models accept VMD (valve motor drive), 0/4 - 20mA, or 0/2 - 10Vdc control signals. With suitable valve adapters and mounting flanges, they can be used with 2-way valves such as SPIRA - TROL and 3-way valves such as QL33, QL43, QL63, and QL73.

Installation and Operating Notes
Install the valve in a horizontal pipeline. Actuator mounting orientation depends on the valve type and process fluid temperature. Installing the actuator more than 90 degrees from the vertical position or in a damp environment is not recommended. Refer to the applicable installation and maintenance guide for detailed installation and servicing information.
