Spirax Sarco AEL7 series electric actuators are cost-effective electric actuators with linear output. They are suitable for Spirax Sarco Spira-trol two-way valves and QL three-way valves, as well as Hiter 85 series and 1000 series control valves. Actuators are normally supplied mounted on the control valve. When an actuator is supplied separately, ensure that the selected actuator provides sufficient thrust to close the two-way or three-way control valve at the expected differential pressure.

Available Models

This series is available with four power supply options: 230Vac, 115Vac, 24Vac and 24 Vdc. VMD control signals, (0)4 - 20mA control signals or (0)2 - 10Vdc control signals can be accepted. Auxiliary limit switches and anti-condensation heaters are also available. With the appropriate valve adapter and mounting flange, the actuators can be used with the following valves:

Warning

Installation of AEL7 series actuators requires connection to a power supply. Installers must have specialist knowledge of electrical circuits, systems and inherent hazards, as well as an understanding of linear actuator operation. Only qualified personnel may operate actuators under these conditions.

Certification option: L and K series DN15 - 100 valves assembled with AEL7T spring-return actuators can be supplied with EN14597 certification for the complete valve and actuator assembly. This must be specified when ordering. EN14597 certification applies only to DN15 - 100 valves with T - 431 stainless steel seat options and standard trim. All other sizes, valve trims and seat options are outside the scope of this safety standard.
