Description
Spirax Sarco AVM7 is a repairable clean steam system air vent designed to remove air and other non-condensable gases from clean steam systems. Operating temperature is close to steam temperature, with a 316L stainless steel construction and an internal surface finish of approximately Ra1.6 - 3.2. Each product is individually sealed in a plastic bag and supplied with a protective cap. Multiple connection options are available, making the product suitable for most piping connections.
Standards
AVM7 is designed in accordance with ASME BPE and also complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Component 3, the “O” ring, complies with FDA CFR title 21, Paragraph 177 section 2600 and USP Class VI. An EN 10204 3.1 material certificate is available for this product; specify the certificate requirement when ordering.

Safety Information, Installation and Maintenance
For detailed information, refer to the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the product (IM - P123 - 23).
Installation recommendations: The product is designed for installation in vertical piping with upward flow to ensure self-draining. Do not expose the thermostatic element to superheated conditions. Install isolation valves upstream and downstream to facilitate maintenance and replacement.

Example: 1 - Spirax Sarco DN15 AVM7 repairable clean steam system air vent, with ISO1127 Series 1 butt-weld tube ends (21.3 O/D x 1.6mm). Tube ends extend 40mm for orbital welding. The body is self-draining by design, with a maximum operating pressure of 7barg and an EN10204 3.1 material certificate.
