Description
Spirax Sarco BPC32F and BPC32YF are maintainable, pressure-balanced thermostatic steam traps made of carbon steel with integral flanged, in-line connections. BPC32F features an integral flat-type strainer, while BPC32YF features an integral Y-type strainer. All pressure-containing parts are supplied by TUV-certified suppliers, and the manufacturing process complies with AD Merkblatt WO/TRD100. Both trap types are unaffected by water hammer and are available with different configurations. Specify the capsule type when ordering.
Options

Standard capsule (STD): Discharges condensate at 12°C below saturated steam temperature.

NTS capsule: Discharges condensate at 6°C below saturated steam temperature.

SUB capsule: Discharges condensate at 24°C below saturated steam temperature.
Standards and Certificates
This product fully complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Material certificates to EN10204 3.1 are available; specify the requirement when ordering.
Sizes and Pipe Connections
Available in DN15, DN20, and DN25 sizes. Flange connection standards include EN 1092 PN40, ASME (ANSI)B16.5 Class 150, or ASME(ANSI) B 16.5 Class 300. Contact Spirax Sarco for other connection options.
Operating Range
The product has a prohibited operating area. Operation outside the specified range may damage internal components.

Safety Information, Installation, and Maintenance
When condensate discharges into a condensate return line with back pressure, installing a check valve downstream of the trap is recommended. When condensate discharges to atmosphere, installing a silencer is recommended. For easier maintenance, isolation valves are recommended upstream and downstream of the trap. Refer to (IM-P005-02) for detailed information.
Disposal
This product is recyclable. Proper disposal does not create an environmental hazard.
