Description
Spirax Sarco BTD52L thermodynamic steam trap, manufactured from 316L stainless steel, is suitable for steam main drainage in clean steam systems.

Options
An insulation cover protects the steam trap from excessive heat loss caused by wind, rain, low temperatures, and other severe weather conditions.

Safety Information, Installation, and Maintenance
For detailed information, refer to the installation and maintenance instructions (IM-P181-03) supplied with the product. Horizontal installation is recommended, with a length of downward-sloping pipe upstream of the steam trap. In applications subject to freezing or where horizontal installation is not possible, BTD52L can also be installed vertically, although this may affect its service life. Isolation valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the steam trap to facilitate maintenance and replacement. If the steam trap discharges into a closed condensate recovery system, a check valve should be installed downstream to prevent reverse flow.
Disposal
This product is recyclable and, when disposed of properly, does not present an environmental hazard.
