Spirax Sarco BTS7.1 stainless steel clean steam trap is a fully enclosed thermostatic steam trap designed for clean steam condensate removal. It can be used with sterilizers, process vessels, and CIP/SIP systems. The body is made of 316L stainless steel and discharges condensate at a temperature close to saturated steam temperature. BTS7.1 has an internal surface finish of 0.5Ra and an external surface finish of 0.75Ra. Each steam trap is individually packaged with a protective cap and sealed in a plastic bag.

Safety Information, Installation, and Maintenance

For detailed information, refer to the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the product (IM-P180-05). Installation note: BTS7.1 is designed for installation in vertical piping with downward flow to ensure condensate drainage. Do not expose the thermostatic element to superheated steam, as this may cause damage. Suitable isolation valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the steam trap to ensure safe maintenance and replacement.
