Spirax Sarco DF2 silencer features a compact design and is installed at the outlet of steam traps that discharge condensate into condensate recovery lines. When condensate discharged from the steam trap undergoes flashing due to rapid cooling, DF2 reduces noise and prevents water hammer.

Installation

Install DF2 downstream of the steam trap, with the flow direction aligned with the arrow on the body.
