Description
Spirax Sarco DP163, DP163G, and DP163Y are pilot-operated diaphragm pressure reducing valves with stainless steel bodies. DP163 is designed for steam systems; DP163G features a soft seal for compressed air and other industrial gases (not recommended for oxygen); DP163Y is equipped with a low-pressure control spring for disinfection/sterilization applications. Products fully comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and can be supplied with CE marking as required. Standard configuration includes a typical manufacturer test certificate EN 10204 3.1. Required certificates and testing specifications must be stated when placing the order.
Sizes and Pipe Connections
Available sizes include DN15LC - low-capacity model, DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50, and DN80. Standard flanges include EN 1092 PN25 and PN40, BS 10 Table ‘J’, and ANSI 300. ANSI 150 and JIS 20 versions are also available.

Safety Information, Installation, and Maintenance
For detailed information, refer to the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the product (IM - P006 - 07). Install the valve in a horizontal pipeline according to the flow-direction arrow on the valve body. Install a steam separator and strainer upstream to protect the pressure reducing valve.

Spare Parts
A range of spare parts is available, including the main diaphragm and pilot valve diaphragm. When ordering spare parts, specify the pressure reducing valve size and model. Certain spare parts are interchangeable between different sizes.
