Safety Information, Installation and Maintenance
Refer to the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the product (IM-P076-09).
Installation Notes
-
SMC32 and SMC32Y can be installed in any position, either horizontal or vertical.
-
When condensate discharges into a condensate return line with backpressure, installing a check valve downstream of the steam trap is recommended.
-
When condensate discharges to atmosphere, installing a diffuser is recommended.
-
For ease of maintenance, isolation valves are recommended upstream and downstream of the steam trap. Increased backpressure will reduce the condensate discharge temperature. Contact Spirax Sarco for further information.
Disposal
This product is recyclable. Proper disposal will not create an ecological hazard.
