Description
Spirax Sarco SMC32F and SMC32YF are maintainable bimetallic steam traps made of carbon steel with integral flanged inline connections. SMC32F has an integral flat strainer, while SMC32YF has an integral Y-type strainer. All pressure-containing parts are supplied by TÜV-certified suppliers, and the manufacturing process complies with AD-Merkblatt WO/TRD100.

Installation Notes
SMC32F and SMC32YF can be installed in any position, horizontal or vertical.
When condensate is discharged into a condensate return line with backpressure, installing a check valve downstream of the steam trap is recommended.
When condensate is discharged to atmosphere, installing a diffuser is recommended.
For ease of maintenance, isolation valves are recommended upstream and downstream of the steam trap. Increased backpressure will reduce the condensate discharge temperature. Disposal
This product is recyclable and, when disposed of properly, does not create an ecological hazard.

Warning: Do not remove the locking nut (4) of the bimetallic element, as this will affect steam trap operation.
