Description
Spirax Sarco SP7-1 smart positioner is a high-performance device designed to precisely control valves driven by NAMUR-compliant pneumatic actuators. It maintains a highly accurate proportional relationship between valve travel and the input electrical signal value (mA), making it suitable for linear or rotary pneumatic actuators.
The positioner features a die-cast aluminum housing with excellent weather resistance for outdoor installation. It supports a rotary travel range of -57° to 57° and a linear travel range of -28° to 28°. Users can select whether to include a mounting kit or pressure gauge kit according to their requirements and must specify the type when ordering. The device accepts a 4-20 mA control input signal, supports a supply pressure range of 1.4 to 6 bar, and supports reverse-acting control mode.
Communication and Expansion Functions
SP7-1 positioner is equipped with a local communication interface (LCI) and supports “HART® communication” with an optional HART®5 or HART®7 protocol. The following expansion module options are also available:

In addition to the analog position setpoint input, the device provides a digital input for activating control system functions and a digital output for transmitting alarm or fault messages.
