Description
Spirax Sarco TD42L and TD42H thermodynamic steam traps are serviceable steam traps. TD42L has a relatively low rated condensate capacity and is primarily used for main line drainage; TD42H is designed for process load drainage. For applications requiring air removal, TD42LA and TD42HA models with anti-air-lock discs are available. The external surfaces of the trap bodies feature ENP nickel plating for energy efficiency and oxidation resistance.

Optional Accessories

Insulating cover: Helps prevent excessive heat loss and overly frequent operation caused by exposure to low temperatures, wind or rain.

Integrated blowdown valve: The strainer cap can be drilled and tapped for a 3/8” BSP or NPT blowdown valve, such as BDV1 or BDV2.

Safety Information, Installation and Maintenance
For detailed information, refer to the installation and maintenance instructions supplied with the product (IM-068-024). The steam trap should preferably be installed in a horizontal pipe with a short downward-sloping pipe section upstream.
Disposal
This product is recyclable and, when disposed of properly, does not create an environmental hazard.
