Spirax Sarco EP6 electrical positioner can be used with linear or rotary actuators featuring NAMUR connections to provide accurate correspondence between control valve travel and the positioner’s input signal (mA). The EP6 positioner has a die-cast aluminum housing suitable for outdoor installation. When installed on a linear actuator, the corresponding travel range is 20mm to 150mm. When installed on a rotary actuator, the corresponding travel range is 55-90°. Multiple positioner mounting kit options are available, and the model must be specified when ordering. EP6 positioner includes a pressure gauge as standard for displaying the compressed air pressure supplied to the actuator. This actuator accepts an mA control signal and has a maximum compressed air pressure of 7barg. EP6 positioner can be used for either direct or reverse action. EP6 positioner must be supplied with high-quality air meeting ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 3:3:2. EP6 positioner can be used with Spirax Sarco BVA300, PN9000 series, TN2000 series, and DC series actuators, as well as other actuators with NAMUR connections.
