Description
Spirax Sarco Fig34 carbon steel strainer is a flanged Y-type strainer manufactured with EN standard materials. The standard stainless steel screen has a perforation size of 0.8mm for DN15 to DN80 and 1.6mm for DN100 to DN200. Other perforation sizes, mesh counts and Monel alloy screens are available. Threaded holes can be drilled in the strainer cap for connecting blowdown or drain valves as required. Low-temperature carbon steel strainers are also available.
Standards
This product fully complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and can be supplied with the CE mark when required.
Certificates
Material certificates to EN 10204 2.2 are available. Material certificates for the body and cap to EN 10204 3.1.B can also be supplied on request; this must be specified when ordering.
Sizes and Pipeline Connections
Available sizes are DN15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150 and 200, with standard flanged connections to EN 1092 PN40.

Stainless steel screen: Perforation sizes are 1.6mm (DN15 - DN80) and 3.0mm (DN15 - DN200); mesh counts are 40, 100 and 200.

Monel alloy screen: Perforation sizes are 0.8mm (DN15 - DN80), 1.6mm (DN100 - DN200) and 3.0mm (DN15 - DN200); mesh count is 100.

Blowdown or drain valve connection Different sizes of threaded holes can be drilled in the cap for installing blowdown or drain valves. Specifications are as follows:
