Description
Spirax Sarco Spira-trol™ two-way control valves belong to the EN-standard K and L series, with sizes ranging from DN15 to DN100. This series consists of two-way, single-seat globe valves with cage-retained seats. The valves comply with EN standards and are available with four body material options. When combined with pneumatic or electric linear actuators, they provide modulating control or on/off control.
Standards: Designed in accordance with EN 60534 and compliant with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive / UK Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations, with applicable markings where required.
Certification: EN 10204 3.1 certification is available. All certification and inspection requirements must be specified when ordering.

Valve Options
Stem Sealing: PTFE chevron packing (P-N), graphite packing (H), bellows/PTFE (B), bellows/graphite (C), and bellows/graphite secondary sealing (D) for zero-emission and high-temperature applications.

High-Temperature Applications: Multiple temperature ranges are available for different requirements and pressure ratings. PN25 can be rated up to 300°C for zero-emission, high-temperature, and heat-transfer fluid applications; PN25 can be rated up to 400°C for zero-emission, high-temperature, and heat-transfer fluid applications; PN16 with bellows/graphite secondary sealing (D) can be rated up to 300°C.

Seats: Metal-to-metal seating, with 431 stainless steel as standard and 316L stainless steel also available; soft seats, with PTFE for applications up to 170°C and Class VI shutoff, such as compressed air or water; PEEK (C and P) for applications up to 220°C and Class VI shutoff; PEEK (K) for applications up to 250°C and Class VI shutoff; surface-hardened 316L stainless steel with Stellite™ 6 coating for more demanding applications.

Bonnet Types: Standard bonnet and extended bonnet for large-pipe insulation or hot/cold applications.

Trim: Standard trim and low-noise, anti-cavitation trim (see TI-S24-59; not compatible with reversible PEEK seat (C)).
