Description
Spirax Sarco S7 carbon steel steam separator removes liquid from steam, compressed air, and gas systems. Depending on the application, a suitable steam trap (FT) or drain valve (CA) must be installed to remove condensate/liquid. For steam applications, install an FT float trap and AV air vent; for compressed air/gas applications, install a CA float drain valve.
Standards
This product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Design and manufacture comply with EN 13445:2002 — “Unfired Pressure Vessels.”
Certificates
An EN 10204 3.1 material certificate is available for this product. Other certificates can also be supplied at additional cost; please consult Spirax Sarco. Note: If a certificate is required, please specify this when ordering.
Sizes and Pipe Connections
Available sizes are DN65, DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, DN200, DN250, DN300, and DN350.

EN 1092 PN16 or PN40 flanges with BSP-threaded drain and vent connections.

ANSI B16.5 Class 150 or 300 flanges with NPT-threaded drain and vent connections.

JIS/KS 20K flanges with BSP-threaded drain and vent connections.

Materials

Installation Notes
To ensure effective condensate removal, a suitable float trap and air vent must be installed. For compressed air/gas applications, a balance pipe must be installed between the CA trap and the main pipeline or the top of the steam separator. For further information, please consult Spirax Sarco.
Disposal
This product is recyclable and, when disposed of properly, presents no environmental hazard.
Spare Parts
S7 requires no maintenance, and spare parts are not available.
