Description
Even the cleanest and best-designed clean steam systems may contain water, resulting in insufficient steam dryness to meet sterilization requirements, damage to control valves and instrumentation, and reduced system efficiency. Spirax Sarco CS10-1 stainless steel clean steam separator is designed fully in accordance with ASME BPE requirements to remove liquid droplets from clean and pure steam systems. It also features a removable baffle that can be thoroughly inspected before installation and during in-system inspection.

Product design complies with ASME BPE - 2005. Fully compliant with European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Gaskets meet FDA regulation 21 CFR, Part 177.2600. 1/2”, 3/4” and 1” meet USP VI requirements.

Packaging
Product is packaged in a clean environment and isolated from other non-stainless steel products, in accordance with ASM EBPE protection and cleanliness requirements. Protective caps are fitted to the inlet and outlet ports, and the product is then sealed in a plastic bag.

Note: For sanitary clamp connections, maximum pressure and temperature are determined by the gasket and clamp used. Consult Spirax Sarco.

Installation Notes
Install in a horizontal pipeline. Check the arrow direction to ensure correct installation.
Note: Handle the body and internal surfaces carefully to ensure that the surface finish is not damaged.
